Senior
Adult Mission Trip to Charleston, West Virginia
Our Senior Adult
Choir and others will be involved in concert
ministry, prayer walking, servant evangelism,
feeding ministry, tutoring, and more during this
mission trip.

Ministry
with Graffiti Church in New York City
Our team will
travel and work with a team from West Charleston
Baptist Church to provide ministry to the inner city
of New York City. To learn more about Graffiti

South
Yadkin Baptist Association Toy Store
We work with other
churches at the annual Toy Store held in various
locations during the month of December. We will have
a special offering and collection of toys for the
Toy Store. Toys are provided so that families can
then purchase them for their children at ten cents
on the dollar, ensuring smiles are on children’s
faces at Christmas. Families who participate also
agree to listen to the Bible’s claims regarding
Jesus. We will collect toys and offerings in
October, and volunteers will help with the store
preparation and operation in November and December.

Shoe
Boxes for Operation Christmas Child/Samaritan's Purse
Children in our
Awana ministry will be preparing shoe boxes for
Operation Christmas Child.
Operation Christmas
Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate
situations around the world through gift-filled shoe
boxes and the Good News of God’s love. Since 1993,
more than 61 million shoe boxes have been packed,
shipped, and delivered across the globe. People of
all ages can be involved in this simple, hands-on
missions project while focusing on the true meaning
of Christmas—Jesus Christ.

Video Production Team to West Charleston Baptist Church
Video
team needed to produce an approximate three minute
infomercial on the ministry of the Cannadas in
Charleston West Virginia. Videographers,
editors, etc. needed.

Medical/Construction/Evangelism
Mission Trip to Costa Rica
A medical team made
up of various health care professionals and support
personnel will minister to Guatemalan refugees in
Costa Rica. The team will also have opportunity to
treat local pastors and missionaries. A construction
team will be contributing their labor to help with
projects of SCORE International. The project would
involve continuing development of a missions
training center in San Jose. Additional team members
will be used to work with kids and help with
evangelism at the refugee sites where our church
will hold medical clinics. The group will be housed
at the SCORE International complex.
Dates: February 20-27, 2010

Celebration Choir & Instrumentalists to Charleston, WV
Our Celebration
Choir will be involved in concert ministry, block
parties, prayer walking, servant evangelism, feeding
ministry, tutoring, and more during this mission
trip.

occupancy) or $50 (sleep in church)

Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic
Youth camps, puppet
shows, mime presentations, street evangelism,
orphanage work, public school assemblies, feeding
the hungry, painting churches, sports evangelism,
tract distribution, and youth rallies are a few of
the ministries our youth group can do. Score
International will host the trip.
Dates: June 13-20,

Family Missions Trip to Charleston, WV
Entire families are
encouraged to participate in this child-friendly
missions trip. Housing will be provided at the

High
School Youth to Deep Impact Missions Camp
Deep Impact
Missions Weeks are pre-packaged week-long missions
experiences that provide students with the
opportunity to share God’s love with hurting people
through word and deed. Youth will participate in a
variety of missions opportunities according to their
gifts and interests, including VBS, sports
evangelism, prayer walks, construction, and others.
Evening worship each night will help students
reflect on their lives and commit themselves to
serving others in Christ’ name. The youth will be
housed at the Red Springs Missions Camp of the NC
Baptist Men.

Our youth will be

Missions Trip to Costa Rica
Our college and career
ministry will be heading off to Costa Rica to work in a
variety of missions opportunities with SCORE
international. Youth camps, puppet shows, mime
presentations, street evangelism, orphanage work, public

churches, sports evangelism, tract distribution, and
youth rallies are a few of the ministries available to
our group.
